A country-specific update is available for searching products by product attributes and product dimensions in Enterprise POS for Russia in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 for Retail

The feature addresses a gap in the product search functionality in Enterprise POS existing in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 for Retail. You can view attribute and dimension values for a product in Enterprise POS. However, you cannot search by attributes and dimensions there.

The feature enables product search by attributes and dimensions in Enterprise POS by extending the Product search command. The command has a new parameter that specifies product category. This parameter enables search by product dimensions and attributes defined for the category. Individual attributes and dimensions should be enabled for searching in a channel in the Set attribute metadata form in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

Feature enables entering search criteria specific for each attribute type and dimension. Dimensions, Boolean, and text attributes that use fixed list enable specifying multiple values from the list. Numeric, Currency, and DateTime attributes enable specifying a search interval. Text attributes enable specifying a search string supporting wildcard characters.

This update includes the previously released update 2970918 . In addition, an option is provided to enable individual product dimensions for searching in Enterprise POS in the Set attribute metadata form in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
