RSOP is not displayed correctly and an error occurs on a Windows Server 2012 R2-based server

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a Windows Server 2012 R2-based server that acts as a domain controller (DC).
  • You use Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) to enable a Folder Redirection Group Policy setting in the following Group Policy path:
    <Group Policy Object Name>\User Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Folder Redirection
  • You apply the Group Policy setting to Windows 7-based client computers.
  • You run Group Policy Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) to obtain the information about Group Policy settings.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

Not Found: An unknown error occurred while data was gathered for this extension
Also, you cannot verify whether the Group Policy settings are applied correctly.
