Rotated images in PowerPoint 2013 are printed incorrectly when you use XPS in Windows

Considering the following scenario:
- You have a PowerPoint slide that contains rotated images on a computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
- You open the PowerPoint slide in Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, and then you try to print the file by using Microsoft XPS Document Writer or an XPS printer.
In this scenario, the PowerPoint slide may be printed incorrectly.

To resolve this issue, install the hotfix that is described in this article or the update rollup (recommended) that contains this hotfix.
Note The update rollup fixes many other issues in addition to the issue that the hotfix fixes. We recommend that you use the update rollup. The update rollup is larger than the hotfix. Therefore, the update rollup takes longer to download.
