The Grid Pop button is disabled on Work Order Production Completion

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Work Order in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • In Work Order (12.250.00) you enter two work orders for the same inventory item, and with the same component required to build the work order.
  • In Work Order Production Completion (12.402.00) you complete the first work order.  After you click the Grid Pop button, you close that screen without clicking the OK button.
  • Then you change the Work Order number and complete the second work order.

When you do this, you notice that the Grid Pop button is disabled.

Resolution

Hotfix information for Microsoft Dynamics SL
