This article describes a hotfix package that updates the network adapter ID to support kernel debugger in Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1. This update has prerequisites.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 file information and notes
