This update contains the following improvements:

• Helps you maintain control over your Internet Explorer 11 search provider. After you install this update, you are prompted about any external requests to change the search provider. For example:
  • When unknown software that is external to Internet Explorer tries to change the search provider, you are prompted by a notification bar.
  • User-initiated changes to the Internet Explorer search provider settings are recognized as trusted changes.
