Introduction

EC Sales list is a compilation of details by purchaser of the value of goods and services the business has sold VAT-free to other EU countries. The purpose of the EC Sales list is to assist tax authorities in collection information and monitoring the movement of goods within the European Union. Therefore, business are required to provide an EC sales list to the tax authorities on monthly basis if they deliver goods within the EU or provide services in the EU recipient in another EU country who is subjected to tax.

EC Sales list to be provided to tax authorities in electronic format. This article describes that a country specific update is available for electronic submission of EU sales lists for Finland in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

More information

This update modifies or adds following capabilities:
  • Generation of the original file with EU sales lists information.
    "EU Reporting" form (Organization administration\Periodic\Foreign trade\EU sales list\Reporting) is modified.
    User can select:
    • "Reporting period" - to define the scope of data to be included into the file.
    • "Generate file" - to generate an export file additionally to paper report.
    • "File name" - to specify the output file destination.
    • "Correction" - to control whether original or corrective file to be generated (not selected for the original).
  • Corrective data preparation
    "EU sales list" form (Organization administration\Periodic\Foreign trade\EU sales list\"Correction" tab) is modified.
    User can manually define the reference to the previously submitted data that must be corrected:
    • "Correction period" recognized from reported year and month
    • "Amount" to be corrected
    • "Correction List code" in case it was wrongly submitted
    • "Correction Country/region" if wrong country has been previously reported
    • "Correction tax number" when mistakes in Tax number were found
  • Generation of the corrective file with EU sales lists information.
    The same as for original file but with selected "Correction" field on "EU Reporting" form (Organization administration\Periodic\Foreign trade\EU sales list\Reporting).
To activate EU sales lists generation Users need to properly set up EU Sales list parameters.
On "Foreign trade parameters" form (Organization administration\Setup\Foreign trade\Foreign trade parameters\EU sales list):
  • "XSLT ID" parameter must be assigned with a new transformation "EUSalesListReportingASCII_FI."
It's assumed that the list of available transformations is updated in advance with the help of "Load XSLT files" functionality presented on the same form.

Prerequisites

You must have one of the following products installed to apply this hotfix:
  • The Finland version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
  • The Finland version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

File information
