Windows Store app still reacts to search text when you delete the text in Search charm in Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You type text into the Search charm to search in a Windows Store app that uses the SearchPane.QueryChanged event.
  • You delete all text that you typed previously in the Search charm.
In this scenario, the app still reacts to a subset of the text that you previously typed.

Resolution
