Symptoms

Internet Explorer 11 may crash when you switch the text direction in a webpage between right-to-left (RTL) and left-to-right (LTR). This issue occurs if the document mode of Internet Explorer 11 is set to Internet Explorer 5 mode or to Internet Explorer 7 mode.
