In addition to collect the information that is described earlier, this diagnostic package can detect one or more of the following symptoms:
  • Messages of event logs.
  • Verify SQL Server 2008 R2, typically SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 should be installed.
  • Global SQL trace glags are enabled and could affect the performance of the SQL server.
  • Verify SQL Server 2008, typically SQL Server 2008 SP3 should be installed.
  • Detect if this computer is a virtual machine that is running in Microsoft Azure.
  • Business Connector Proxy account setup - Active Directory and SYSBCPROXYUSERACCOUNT table validation.
  • Data collection of Enterprise Portal.
  • Enterprise Portal check whether ServerName contains "_" in the name.
  • Enterprise Portal check whether the AxSiteDef template exists.
  • Verify the membership in the system administrator role in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Verify the membership in the system administrator group on the EP web server.
  • The loopback check is disabled.
  • Check whether a SharePoint SDP package is uploaded.
  • Diagnostic packages are frequently run on broken systems. To improve the quality of our diagnostics, tracking exceptions that occur within the diagnostic tool, and fixing accordingly.
  • Cryptsvc is not present as a dependency of C2WTS service.
  • Machine is not joined to a domain.
  • Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS) is not installed on the computer.
  • Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS) is not started on the computer.
  • WSS_WPG group is not in the list of enabled callers of the c2wtshost.exe.config file.
  • Domain account is not an admin.
  • Impersonate a client after the authentication right is missing for the service account in C2WTS.
  • Log on as a service, right is missing for the service account in C2WTS.
  • Act as part of the operating system, right is missing for the service account in C2WTS.
  • Built-in account did not access C2WTS.
  • Local computer account did not access C2WTS.
  • Protocol transitioning is not set to "Any Authentication" for the claim to the Token Services account in Windows.
  • Web Application is not using either the classic mode or Windows claims for the zone.
  • Duplicate SPNs can cause authentication failures for both user and service accounts.
  • Alternative access mapping url is configured for a zone but the web application is not extended into that zone.
  • Minimum requirement for hard disk space.
  • Minimum requirement for memory.
  • Minimum requirement for processors.
  • Presence of event ID 6858 in the application event log.
