More information

The feature addresses a gap in products search on Enterprise POS existing in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 for Retail. You can view attribute values for a product on EPOS. However, you cannot search by attributes there.

The feature enables attribute search on EPOS by extending the Product search command. The command has new parameter that specifies product category. This parameter enables search by attributes defined for the category. Attribute should be enabled for searching in a channel by using the standard attributes metadata. Feature also enables searching by product dimensions.

Feature enables entering search criteria specific for each attribute type and dimension. Dimensions, and Boolean, and text attributes that use fixed list enable specifying multiple values from the list. Numeric, Currency, and DateTime attributes enable specifying search interval. Text attributes enable specifying search string supporting wildcard characters.

You must have the Russia version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
