Introduction

This article describes a country-specific update that is available for enhancements of integration of POS with fiscal printers in Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

More information

This update provides Russian retail customers with the following options:
  • Centralized maintenance of different configuration files for fiscal printers used in retail stores. The customers should be able to create fiscal printer configuration files in Retail headquarters, import the configuration files into AX and link them to POS hardware profiles, distribute the configuration files from AX to channel databases using the CDX Async service, and use the configuration files with fiscal printers connected to POSs.
  • Printing non-fiscal documents on a fiscal printer. POS extensions created by partners and customers may call a specific procedure that is a part of the fiscal printer integration to print non-fiscal documents such as bank card payment slips, loyalty card slips.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
