Symptoms

After you install update rollup 2919355 (April 2014) for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, or after you install either of these operating systems from media that includes this update rollup, you cannot restart the computer because the computer experiences a restart loop.

How to obtain this update

This update is offered when you upgrade to the release version of Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
