The Thailand Revenue Department has announced changes to certain documents that require the customer/vendor tax registration and branch/head office details to be printed along with the other necessary data on certain reports in Dynamics AX starting from January 1, 2015.
To track this information in Dynamics AX, certain new fields are added.
On LogisticsPostalAddress form, Tax address type field is added to identify the head office or branch nature of the address. Branch number field is added to record the branch number in case address is for the branch.
On LedgerJournalTransDaily form, since there is no reference of customer or vendor on transactions, the following fields are added to identify the transaction for Thailand tax reporting purposes. Tax address type field is added to identify the head office or branch nature of the address. Branch number field is added to record the branch number in case address is for the branch. Additionally, Tax registration field records the tax registration information for the transaction.
Note Above fields are for customer/vendor. The current AX company’s tax branch details are set as dimension as per original Dynamics AX tax branch functionality for Thailand.
The above fields are displayed on Tax invoice, Input VAT reports and Output VAT reports.
Note This hotfix also fixes an issue with the Withholding Tax Slip report where the report previously was not displaying the section for agent information. After applying this fix, agent information should be displayed correctly in the report.
