Error 1650 when accessing a receipt on POS in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

Symptoms

As per Indian requirements, tax summary is expected to be printed on POS (point of sale) receipt to display tax breakdown to tax component and tax code. In the AX 2012 R3 release, when the locale in functionality profile is "IN" and the receipt profile for type Receipt should have either TaxID or Tax Component in the template, if users try to print receipt on POS, error code 1650 will be given and the receipt cannot be printed.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
