The term for this incentive runs from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. Hosting partners are strategically important in broadening Microsoft’s reach in the cloud.
The Microsoft Hosting Incentive serves to promote deeper market penetration and deployment of the Microsoft platform with our Hosting partners and do so through a third-party hosting scenario. Sales of these scenarios are driven through the Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) offering.
Incentive summary Hosting partners can leverage incentives to fund key investments that enable them to deliver on their business strategies, as well as build sustainable growth for their companies. Some of the specific focus areas can:
▪ Increase and accelerate customer reach and expansion.
▪ Grow sales of key Microsoft technology-based solutions that address critical customer requirements.
▪ Build on core business, enhancing the value of defined sales and services practices.
Partner eligibility:
Participation in the Hosting Partner Incentive is by invitation only. Named eligible partners will be invited to participate in the Hosting Partner Incentive. Partners may opt-out of the incentive program, provided they submit a written request to their channel executive and HIPOut@microsoft.com, stating that they would not like to participate in the Hosting incentive program for the full FY20 program year. Once a partner has selected to opt out of the FY20 program year, they will forfeit earnings earned and the ability to regain entry for the program year. In order to opt out, the request must be made by the participating Hoster in the program.
To be eligible to receive an invitation to participate in the Hosting Incentive, a partner must meet the following criteria on or before May 31, 2019.
Partner participation in the Hosting Incentive Program is subject to a partner’s ongoing compliance with program criteria.
