Assume that you use Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 to show a report in a Windows Forms application. When you try to use Keyboard keys to operate the report, you may encounter the following issues:
- You use the Tab key to make focus on the report toolbar, and then use Alt+ left or right arrow key to make the focus on the Export option. When you press the Enter key to open the Export option drop-down menu, the focus disappears. If you press Alt + down arrow key, the focus moves to the first icon on the toolbar. However, the keys work fine when you make the focus on the Export option first with mouse.
- You use the Tab key to make focus on the multivalve parameter of a report, and then use Alt + down key to open the parameter drop-down list. When you use down or up arrow key to scroll through the values in the parameter drop-down list, the keys do not work unless you use mouse to view and select the values in the parameter drop-down list.
- You use the Tab key to make focus on the first parameter drop-down list of a report that contains two or more single select cascading parameters, and then use the Alt + up or down key to open the first parameter drop-down list. When you use down or up arrow key to scroll through the values in the parameter drop-down list, the drop-down list closes and focus moves to the View Report button.
