The rdgiskdcproxy:i:1 property cannot be set for the remote apps that are hosted by RD Web Access on Windows Server

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • To provide users access to remote programs from the Internet, you configure Remote Desktop Web Access (RD Web Access) through a Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway).
  • You try to enable Kerberos authentication for the users by using the Key Distribution Center (KDC) proxy feature on their Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway) server.
  • To enable Kerberos authentication, you have to set the rdgiskdcproxy:i:1 property in the RDP files.
In this scenario, you cannot set the rdgiskdcproxy:i:1 property for the remote programs that are hosted on the RD Web Access.
