FIX: Storyboard animation in a transition is skipped from playing in an SWE application for Windows Embedded Compact 7

Symptoms

Assume that you run a Silverlight for Windows Embedded (SWE) application for Windows Embedded Compact 7 on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device. The storyboard animation in a transition is skipped from playing.

Cause

This issue occurs for one of the following reasons:
  • The datacontext of the transition animation is invalid, because the datacontext was not updated.
  • The animation was dragged to the ending point before it begins to run.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
