FIX: Transmit pipeline for a two-way receive location is set incorrectly when you import binding file in BizTalk Server

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Assume that you use a two-way receive location and the send pipeline is set as non-PassThruTransmit in Microsoft BizTalk Server. When you export a binding file and then try to import it into another BizTalk environment, the transmit pipeline for the two-way receive location is set to PassThruTransmit instead of the specific pipeline that is used originally.

Cause

This issue occurs because an additional <TransmitPipeline> node within the <ReceivePort> node (but outside the <ReceiveLocations> node) is added when you export the binding file.
