"Something went wrong" error when you use Alt+F4 to close an app in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

Summary

When you press Alt+F4 to close a Microsoft Store app in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, you may receive one of the following error messages:
Something went wrong and this app cant set print settings.
Something went wrong and this app cant share right now.

Causes

The first error message
You receive this error message when you open a printer device app from the More Settings menu in a Microsoft Store app. This issue occurs if the V4 printer driver has the Advanced Print Settings experience installed. 
The second error message
You receive this error message when you use the Share feature on the Charm bar for the Microsoft Store app. For example, you click Share in the immersive mode of Internet Explorer, and then you click Mail. The issue occurs because the parent app incorrectly handles the close function.

Workaround

To work around these error messages, close the app by using a gesture.

For example, you can tap or click the "go back" button in the upper-left corner. Or, you can click or press the top of the app, hold it, and then drag or swipe down to the bottom of the screen to close the app.
