Unexpected printing output when you use an application that calls TxGetNaturalSize API to print certain content in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • You have an application that uses a windowless rich edit control for text printing, and that specifically uses the Windows TxGetNaturalSize API.
  • You use the application to print certain content.
In this scenario, the printing output is not as expected. Specifically, the bound rectangle is very small, and the text is truncated.
