More Information

1. How do I enroll in the program?

2. How do ensure I am compliant to participate in the program?

1. Partner Participation

Partner Sales Executives notify partners of their selection and enrollment into the Managed Reseller Incentive.

a. Eligible partners receive incentive contracts from the Microsoft Regional Operations Center (ROC) during the first month of the fiscal year (July).

b. To be successfully enrolled, partners must have received an incentive contract from Microsoft each year.

c. Partners must have successfully completed incentive tool registration, provided valid banking information and an updated email address.

d. Registration to an incentive platform is based on the partner’s location:

·         EMEA – partners will receive an invitation to register for the (PIE) Partner Incentives Experience.

·         Asia, Latin America, Canada – partners will be prompted to register on the (CHIP) Channel Incentives Platform.

·         The USA – partners will be prompted to register on the OneView tool.

Once partners have completed the registration process those systems will provide earning visibility, claim submission and payment reporting.

Please contact Partner Sales Executive to check your eligibility and/or how to participate in the Managed Reseller program. Details on Partner Eligibility Requirements and Partner Participation can also be found in the Managed Reseller guidebook here.

2. Partner Eligibility Requirements - Incentive eligibility.

To be eligible to participate in the Managed Reseller incentives program, a partner must attain one of the MPN Competencies at the Silver or Gold level in either the Active-Earned, Active-Non Compliant, or Active–Preapproved status per Microsoft subsidiary by June 1 of the appropriate year.

Eligible Partner organizations must also achieve and maintain MPN Gold or Silver level competency in one of the following competencies by June 1, 2016.

Competency status must be Active-Earned, Active Pre-Approved, Active-Non Compliant or Active Inherited. Review the specific requirements to attain Silver or Gold level MPN Competency here: https://partner.microsoft.com/en/us/Pages/Membership/competencies.aspx.

Performance Requirements

The second requirement is that Partners must meet or exceed one of the two performance thresholds.  The first option is having or exceeding a revenue threshold of $150,000 USD in Mature Markets or $75,000 USD in Emerging Markets in Open License revenue within the 12-month period from June 1, 2015 through May 31, 2016. At least one sale must include revenue from one of the following Cloud products: Office 365, Windows Azure, CRM Online, or Intune. The second is being either Cloud Optimize or Cloud Inspire per the SureStep model and having 15 or more Net Cloud Customers adds within the 12-month period from June 1, 2015 through May 31, 2016.

Managed Status Requirements

The third requirement is that the partner must be Managed Partner (on Microsoft’s FY17 Managed Partner List, excluding managed Distributors).

Eligibility is assessed at Microsoft subsidiary level, so partners who operate within more than one subsidiary need to satisfy the criteria within each of the subsidiaries independently in order to earn the Managed Reseller Incentive within each.
