Daylight saving time (DST) fix for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 with Update Rollup 11 Critical Update

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM team is releasing a fix for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 with Update Rollup 11 Critical Update for daylight saving time (DST) changes that are occurring in Brazil, Jordan, and Fiji. Some of these countries have discontinued daylight saving time.

The changes that are included in this fix are as follows.

Jordan

Jordan ended the current DST arrangement on December 20, 2013. From 2014 onward, Jordan will fall back to the rule that was followed from 2006 to 2011:
  • DST will begin at midnight of the last Thursday of March.
  • DST will end at 01:00 on the last Friday of October.

Brazil

The state of Acre follows SA Pacific Standard Time from October 11, 2013. The display name of SA Pacific Standard Time is updated from (GMT-05:00) Bogota, Lima, Quito to (GMT-05:00) Bogota, Lima, Quito, Rio Branco.

Fiji

In a press release, the Fijian government announced that Fiji will end DST on January 19, 2014 at 02:00. Windows is currently set to end DST for (UTC+12:00) Fiji on January 19, 2014 at 03:00.

Resolution

A fix is available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 with Update Rollup 11 Critical Update. This issue is also scheduled to be resolved in Update Rollup 17 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. To obtain this fix, contact Microsoft Dynamics CRM Support:
