Currency Selection form does not check whether the rate variance is exceeded when the user changes the Multiply/Divide value

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You open Currency Manager Setup (24.950.00), and you enter a Rate Variance of 2.0 percent.
  • You open Currency Rate Maintenance (24.270.00), and you enter a rate from transaction currency to base currency of 6.5 together with a Multiply/Divide of Multiply.
  • In a currency enabled data entry screen, you open Currency Selection (24.000.00), you enter the transaction currency, and then you change Multiply/Divide to Divide.  However, you leave the rate at 6.5.

In this scenario, you notice that no warning message is displayed even though the difference between a Multiply 6.5 rate and a Divide 6.5 rate is greater than the 2-percent variance.
