The Send option does not work for contacts in the Contacts folder

When you add a contact from the Contacts folder in a new message in Microsoft Outlook, right-click the contact in the To field, and then click Send Options, you may receive the following error message: To determine the unique number that is associated with the message that you receive, press CTRL+SHIFT+I. The following number appears in the lower-right corner of this message: If you click the To button, add a contact from the Contacts folder to the To box, right-click the contact, and then click Send Options in a new message, you may receive the following error message:

Use the following steps to work around this problem:

1. Open the Contacts folder.
2. Right-click a contact.
3. Click New Message to Contact.
4. Right-click the recipient in the To field.
5. Click Send Options.
