FIX: "SQLCODE 80" error in the Managed Provider for DB2 when you use named parameters in a query

Symptoms

When you run a parameterized query by using the Managed Provider for DB2 feature that's included with Microsoft Host Integration Server 2013, the query may fail. In this situation, you receive the following error message:

SQLCODE 80.

Cause

This problem occurs when you use named parameters, and the parameter to be inserted contains an empty value.

The fix that resolves this problem is included in Cumulative Update 1 for Host Integration Server 2013.
