Audio redirection stops 30 to 60 minutes after you connect to a guest operating system on a Hyper-V host computer that is running Windows

Symptoms

You use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a guest operating system on a Hyper-V host computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2. When you connect from a physical Windows 7 client that has audio redirection enabled and the CPU load increases, audio redirection stops after 30 to 60 minutes and does not restart.

Resolution

To resolve this issue in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, install update 2919355.
To resolve this issue in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, install the hotfix that is described in this article.
