When Host Integration Server 2013 was released, the Developer Design Tools were supported for use with Visual Studio 2012.
Feature Requirement
Developer Design Tools (Transaction Integrator, Host Files, Message Queue, Host Data Conversion) Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 (with C++ and C#)
After you apply the update, the Developer Design Tools are updated to support Visual Studio 2013 (C++ and C#) and also Visual Studio 2012 (with C++ and C#).
