Changes done in this hotfix to generate e-files for TDS, TCS and corrections are as follows:
On General ledger > Reports > India > TDS > TDS Statement and on General ledger > Reports > India > TCS > TCS Statement
The 'Token number' field is now independent of selection in 'Statement filed earlier' field. The 'Token number' field is always enabled and is selectable for regular as well as correction statement.
The 'Statement filed earlier' field is marked in case user wants to prepare a correction statement. In that case user will select the regular statement corresponding to which the correction is being made in the 'Token number' field.
The 'Statement filed earlier' field is not marked if the user wishes to generate a regular statement. In this case the user should select the previous filed regular statement number in the 'Token number' field. Doing so will set statement filed for earlier period as 'Y' and set the token number in the appropriate field.
If no 'Token number' is selected, then system will set statement filed for earlier period as 'N' and set the token number in the appropriate field as blank.
The file structure for e-file for 26Q, 27Q and 27 EQ along with their corrections will be compatible with FVU4.0 after applying this hotfix.
