Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have some Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based fault-tolerant servers (that is, servers that have redundant hardware failover capabilities). For example, you have Stratus ftServer Draco servers or NEC ftServer Draco servers.
  • You have security update 2862330 installed on the servers.

  • You try to fail over USB devices on the servers.
In this scenario, the servers crash. Additionally, you receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:
