A country-specific update for India is available for default tax information details based on warehouse selection in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Purchase Order:
Create a Purchase order

1. Go to Account payable > Common > Purchase orders > All Purchase orders
2. Enter Item, Quantity, Site, Warehouse and other required details.
3. Click Tax information tab under Line details fast tab.
4. Under Delivery (Earlier Company) Information section, Information related to Delivery Address (Location, address, Tax information name and various other tax ids associated with that Tax Information name) automatically populate based on the delivery address of the warehouse selected on the purchase order line.

If the warehouse does not have a delivery address, the delivery address of site is selected. If the site also does not have a delivery address, the delivery address for the Company is taken from Company Information.
On Changing the Location in the Tax Information tab, the Delivery address on the Address tab gets updated. Now addresses in the Address tab page and Tax Information tab page both are in sync.
Sales Order:
Create a Sale order

1. Go to Account Receivable > Common > Sales orders >All sales orders
2. Enter Item, Quantity, Site, Warehouse and other required details.
3. Click Tax information tab under Line details fast tab.
4. Under Shipping from (Earlier Company Information) section, Information related to Delivery Address (Location, address, Tax information name and various other tax ids associated with that Tax Information name) automatically populate based on the delivery address of the warehouse selected on the sales order line.

If the warehouse does not have a delivery address, the delivery address of site is selected. If the site also does not have a delivery address, the delivery address for the Company is taken from Company Information.

Stock Transfer Order:
Create a Stock Transfer Order

1. Go to Inventory and warehouse management > Periodic >Transfer orders.
2. Enter From warehouse, To warehouse, Item, Quantity, Site, and other required details.
3. Click Tax information tab.
4. Information related to Delivery Address (Location, address, Tax information name and various other tax ids associated with that Tax Information name) automatically populate based on the delivery address of the warehouse selected on the stock transfer order line.

If the warehouse does not have a delivery address, the delivery address of site is selected. If the site also does not have a delivery address, the delivery address for the Company is taken from Company Information.
Note Same for Item journal and Movement journal.
