View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you use Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP adapter to connect to SFTP servers that require two-factor authentication, the SFTP adapter doesn't pick up any files from those SFTP servers and consumes 100 percent CPU usage.

Cause

The issue occurs because BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP adapter only supports connections that require one-factor authentication (either the private key or the username + password authentication).

Note We add two-factor authentication (the private key and the username + password authentication) support for SFTP adapter in BizTalk Server 2013 R2.
