Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You enable Enhanced Protected Mode (EPM) in Windows Internet Explorer 11.
  • You go to a website, and the identity provider (idP) of the website is in a different sandbox than the website. For example, login.live.com is in a different sandbox than bing.com.
  • The website requires that EPM is enabled in Internet Explorer 11.
In this scenario, you may encounter cookie-related issues. For example, you cannot sign in to the website, or your personal information is not loaded correctly after you sign in.
