Symptoms

When you enable the FEATURE_USE_WINDOWEDSELECTCONTROL feature to implement intrinsic HTML controls in Internet Explorer 10, the webpage that uses those controls may crash.

To resolve this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update.
