FIX: Logical unit sessions may display SSCP status and be unusable after a network outage

Symptoms

After a network outage, logical unit (LU) sessions may display system services control point (SSCP) session status and be unusable when you use the Session Integrator feature in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 to communicate with a mainframe system. This issue also affects Host Integration Server 2013.

Cause

This issue was introduced by an incorrectly handled timer during a link outage.

Resolution

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in Cumulative Update 9 for Host Integration Server 2010.
