If you force the first computer to restart without first letting the applications exit, application settings on that computer do not synchronize with the second computer.
For example, consider the following scenario:
For example, consider the following scenario:
- You have a computer on which UE-V is installed and enabled.
- You start an application, such as Calc.exe, that typically synchronizes its settings.
- In this program, you make some changes to the program settings, such as changing from standard layout to programmer layout.
- You leave the program running.
- You start a program such as Notepad.
- In this program, you create a file or open an existing file, and you make some changes to the file.
- You restart the computer, and then you wait for the Force a restart screen to appear.
