Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you create a Word document by using Yu font style on a Japanese language-based client computer, and then you save it. When you open the Word document in a non-Japanese language-based client computer, the Yu font style is changed to other font style unexpectedly.
  • When you use a third-party Instant Messaging & Presence (IM&P) provider, the free/busy status of the contacts cannot be displayed in the contact cards in Microsoft Outlook.

    Note     After you apply this hotfix, Outlook can now supply the free/busy information to the contact card when the provider requests Outlook to supply the data.
