Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you install February 2013 cumulative update for Outlook 2010. You create a Rich Text Format (RTF) email message and save it as an Outlook Form Template (OFT) file. In this situation, when you open the OFT file from the file explorer, the file is opened as an HTML file that has incorrect fonts and formatting. This issue only occurs when Outlook uses an online mode profile.
  • Assume that you create a Word 2010 document. You type some Hebrew text with numbers into the document and save the document as a PDF file. You open the PDF file, copy the numbers and paste them to a new document. In this situation, the numbers may appear with the digits reversed (for example as 321 instead of 123) or with different digits completely.
  • Assume that you open a Word 2010 document in a Windows 7-based client computer. When you change the vertical text from Yu font style to another font style, the parentheses and the punctuations are displayed incorrectly.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open the Input Method Editor (IME) pad in a Word 2010 document.
    • You make some changes in the document.
    • You leave the IME pad open and move the pointer over Style in the ribbon to show style preview.
    • You save the Word document.
    • You make some additional changes in the document.
    • You save and close the Word document.
In this scenario, when you open the document again, the changes are missing.
