"Remember my credentials" option cannot be hidden when the SspiPromptForCredentials function is called in Windows

Symptoms

Assume that you run an application that calls the SspiPromptForCredentials function in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, or Windows Server 2012. The flag that is used to hide the Remember my credentials option is set. In this situation, the Remember my credentials option is still displayed.
