STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED error if you copy files when an NFS server is running Windows Server 2008 SP2

Consider the following scenario:

• You have a server that's running Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
• You configure Network File System (NFS) on this server, and you create NFS shares by using Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS).
• You enable services for unmapped user access.
• You create a user map only for unmapped users on the AD LDS server.
• You copy files that are owned by an unmapped user from the NFS client to the NFS server until a cache update time-out occurs.�

In this scenario, you receive the following error message from the NFS server:

This problem occurs because the token for the unmapped user is cleared and cannot be found.

• GDR service branches contain only those fixes that are widely released to address widespread, extremely important issues. LDR service branches contain hotfixes in addition to widely released fixes.
• Service Pack 1 is integrated into the release version of Windows Server 2008. Therefore, RTM milestone files apply only to Windows Vista. RTM milestone files have a 6.0.0000.xxxxx version number.
• The MANIFEST files (.manifest) and the MUM files (.mum) that are installed for each environment are listed separately in the "Additional file information for Windows Server 2008" section. MUM files and MANIFEST files, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are extremely important to maintain the state of the updated components.
