INTRODUCTION

This article describes a country-specific update that is available for changes in the Latvian value-added tax (VAT) declaration xml format in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

More Information

From January 1, 2013, there is only one required VAT declaration xml file. The new VAT declaration xml file combines information from five files. The EU Sales list is included also.

This hotfix includes the following updates and changes for Latvian VAT declaration xml file:
  • Tax amount in section PVN1I tag <PvnVertiba> will not include non-deductable tax amount (with tax exemption).
  • Correction of amount in section ‘PVN1II’ in tag <ValVertiba>. That amount should be tax base amount (not tax amount) in customer/vendor country currency, even if transaction is in company or any other currency.
  • Transactions with business type R1, R2 or R3 should not be summarize in appendixes PVN1I and PVN1III. Every transaction should be on a separate tag <R> with business types R1, R2 or R3.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
