INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you paste a formula that contains an absolute reference from one sheet to another by using the Transpose paste option in Excel 2013, the absolute reference is converted unexpectedly to a relative address. The problem only occurs when the destination range overlaps the source range in 3D range space.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You import some data from an OLAP data source to an Excel workbook in Excel 2013.
    • The Automatically Flash Fill option is enabled.
    • The Show Quick Analysis options on selection is enabled.
    •  You select a range of cells, and then you click the Quick Analysis button, or change the value of one cell.
    In this scenario, Excel might crash.
  • When you run Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macros to hide or unhide custom entries in the context menus in Excel 2013, it may take longer time to complete than it does in earlier versions of Excel.
  • When you remove an ActiveX control from a workbook by using the OpenXML SDK, the VBA macros in the workbook might not work.
