Hybrid Configuration wizard does not display the Domain Proof of Ownership list in an Exchange Server 2010 SP3 environment

Symptoms

The Domain Proof of Ownership list in the Hybrid Configuration wizard is not populated in an environment that has Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or a later update rollup installed. You have to run the Get-FederatedDomainProof cmdlet in Exchange Management Shell to retrieve the list.

Cause

This issue occurs because a failure occurs after a new feature was added to Update Rollup 1. The new feature enables you to set auto discover by using the Set-HybridConfiguration cmdlet.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
2891587 Description of Update Rollup 3 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3
