"Objects added to a BindingSource's list must all be of the same type" error message when you add an additional domain name in Exchange Server 2010 SP3

Symptoms

Assume that you have an on-premises, hybrid deployment of Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Exchange Online in Microsoft Office 365. Additionally, assume that the hybrid deployment server is running Update Rollup 1 or Update Rollup 2 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3). When you try to add an additional domain name by using the Hybrid Configuration wizard, you receive the following error message:

Objects added to a BindingSource's list must all be of the same type.

Cause

This issue occurs because of an undetected internal failure encountered after a new feature was added to the Hybrid Configuration wizard during the development of Update Rollup 1.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
