INTRODUCTION

This article describes a country-specific update that is available to enable a German label for credit memos in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

More Information

The German label "Gutschrift" is used until July 1st 2013 for any kind of credit memo. Since July 1st 2013, the German tax legislation recommends a separate label for credit memos originating from sales (sales order, non-item sales and project sales). This update enables a German company to use a new label "Rechnungskorrektur" for credit memos. The label is related to sales credits from sales orders, free text invoices and projects.

The change is implemented as an option. In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, the option can be selected on Company Info. In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and AX 2012 R2, the selection is available on Legal Entity/Foreign trade and Logistics.

Prerequisites

You must have one of the following products installed to apply this update:
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

File information

The Hindi version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
