HDMI Audio device disappears unexpectedly when paired Bluetooth device moves out of range.

Symptoms

When Windows 8 is paired with a Bluetooth audio device, and has a display device attached via HDMI that exposes a HDMI Audio device, it is possible for the HDMI Audio device to disappear unexpectedly if the Bluetooth audio device is currently the active audio device and moves out of range.

Cause

This issue occurs when two audio devices attempt to update their status at the same time. For example, a Bluetooth audio device, and an HDMI Audio device.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in a future release of Windows and Windows RT.
