View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, you stop the SnaBase service on a client computer. For example, you stop the service to perform maintenance tasks. If a 3270 Emulator is running, the SnaBase service reports that the service stopped successfully. Additionally, the 3270 Emulator is stopped.

However, the 3270 Emulator is not stopped correctly and still appears in the task list. Additionally, when you try to restart the SnaBase service, the service does not restart.
