FIX: Incorrect behavior of the scroll box on a ListBox control on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Assume that you run a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device. The application has a UserControl control that contains a ListBox control. You set the ItemsSource property of the ListBox control so that enough items are available to trigger the vertical scroll bar to be displayed. In this situation, you may experience any of the following issues:
  • The size of the scroll box is not correct. It is too small or too big.
  • If the scroll box is at the bottom of the scroll bar when you press the "Up" scroll arrow, you need to press the button more times than expected to reach the top, because some presses have no effect.
  • Assume that at least one of the list items is longer than the visible screen size that triggered the horizontal scroll bar to be displayed. You move the vertical scroll box to its top position. When you click on the area below the scroll box, it will move approximately 70 percent of the way down. When you click below the scroll box again, nothing happens. Therefore, you cannot move the scroll box to the bottom unless you press the "Down" scroll arrow.
