A country-specific update for Russia is available to support legislation requirements of customer return restrictions in a retail store in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

According to the Russian legislation, the following restrictions are imposed by regulation on customer returns in retail stores in Russia:

• In case of return in later shift the customer must fill in a written request. An cash disbursement slip (form KO-2) must be generated and printed instead of a fiscal receipt. The return must not be registered in a fiscal register.
• If the customer returns the goods the retailer must repay in concordance with original sale payment method. If the original purchase was paid in cash, must be returned in cash an so on.

In addition, some market requirements exist:

• Processing different kinds of returns, including return to the warehouses different from the store warehouse.
• Aggregation of sales and return posting that belong to the same shift

To use new features, follow these steps:

1. Set the Initialize refund amounts and don't set Process as a return in the same shift under the following location: Retail/Setup/ Parameters/Retail parameters. The system will control the repay amount per payment method.
2. If the user should have the permission to repay without control of original payment methods set the Allow refunds using different methods permission groups under the following location: Retail/ Setup/ POS/ Permission groups
3. Set the Voucher transactions and Sales and returns under the following location: Retail/Setup/ Parameters/Retail parameters. The system will aggregate the sales and returns belonging to the same shift.
4. If it is necessary, change the described parameters for specific workers under the following locations: Retail/ Common/ Workers setup on Retail/ POS permissions
5. Set the Cash office for specific store under the following location: Retail/Common/Retail channels/Retail stores.
6. Create new Reason code with input type Subcode list or Subcode buttons under the following location: Retail/Setup/Reason codes. Add new subcodes with Trigger function equals to Warehouse for item return. Set the reason codes for return operations under the following location: Retail/Setup/POS/Profiles/Functionality profiles
7. Run the Synch Service Jobs.
8. Find the receipt to return in POS. If the user has permission to return item:
9. • The Return item dialog box will contain new button Display refund. On Display refund amounts dialog will be displayed the history about paid and repaid amounts per payments method of current selected receipt. The POS action with
   • The Reason code dialog box will display the list/buttons of the warehouses for item receive.
   • If the return belonging to a later shift and the user has permission to return in a later shift the user will be able to generate the cash disbursement slip for cash repay automatically or could provide the number of disbursement slip created earlier.
   • The fiscal receipt on the return in later shift will not be generated
10. Run the Synch Service Job.
11. The statement will combine sales and returns from the same shift.

The forms Open statements, Statement journals and Posted transactions will contain information about repays performed through cash disbursement slip. The user can change the associated cash disbursement slip on the form Payment transaction through operation Select another disbursement slip.
